About PS Associates

Steve White joins PS Associates giving his knowledge and expertise to provide fire safety training. He has formed 'Focus on fire', his own Fire Safety Consultancy and is the Fire Safety Consultant for Southampton University.

Focus on fire has been formed in response to an ever-increasing demand for independent and professional advice in many fields of fire safety compliance and training.

Having recently retired as a fire officer after 30 years service with the Isle of Wight Fire & Rescue Service, 16 years of which were specialising in fire safety attaining the position of Deputy Senior Fire Safety Officer, he is available to assist with the following fire safety specialist tasks:

• Fire Safety Audits
• Fire Safety Risk Assessments
• Fire Safety Consultancy
• Fire Safety Training

Steve is:

• A fully competent and qualified Fire safety Officer
• A Graduate of the Institute of Fire Engineers (GIFireE)
• Consultant to PS Associates
• Technical Advisor to Utility Films

Steve is able to offer impartial advice to architects, contractors and clients in all areas of industry and commerce and those with a particular responsibility for the safety of others. With the major change in fire safety legislation in 2006, more responsibility is being placed on 'the responsible person' to ensure compliance with that legislation. 'Focus on fire' can assist you with complying with all those fire safety requirements.
