About PS Associates

Phil is a retired senior police officer. He held positions in CID, Special Branch, many uniformed postings and positions with management responsibilities. For 5 years Phil trained young constables in their craft, which included de-escalation techniques, all law and procedures. He also trained senior officers in management subjects including management of stress and people skills.

In addition to his qualifications to conduct police training, once retired, he moved on to teach in the Further Education Sector obtaining the required teaching awards.

His teaching subjects have included Stress Management, Health and Safety, Violence in the Work place and much more up to HNC level.

Phil also has experience as a legal clerk and company secretary at a further education college and works, on a consultancy basis, for a Local Authority as a legal clerk for tribunals.
