Why do we do this sort of work? Our training and experience make us ideally suited to the task.We are ideally suited to the task! Phil and Colin are retired senior Police Officers who both spent thirty years being assaulted and abused by members of the public! They know only too well the stress and trauma that can be caused by disruptive/violent/aggressive persons towards the staff that have to deal with them. They spent several years training Hampshire police officers at all levels. They taught de-escalation techniques and inter personal skills. They also taught stress management and driver conflict resolution. John has wide experience gained in both county and district councils, plus nine years health and safety experience in industry. He has recently specialised in resolving problems in residential care homes, and has developed a wide knowledge of fire safety and fire risk assessment matters. Steve White joins PS Associates giving his knowledge and expertise to provide fire safety training. Steve is a retired senior Fire Officer and has enjoyed a long and varied career in the Fire Service, engaging in both fire fighting and fire prevention. For a large part of his service he worked in the Fire Safety Department and also as the Brigade Training Officer of a County Fire Service. His work has involved all levels of inspection and enforcement from small factory units to major hospital buildings and business warehouses. Peter Tilling is a very experienced senior fire safety officer, having carried out thousands of fire safety inspections with both the London and Dorset Fire and Rescue Services before becoming the Fire Safety Officer for Bournemouth Borough Council. There he was responsible for a wide range of premises including the Bournemouth International Centre.
